1. Prices do not include transport and goods can be picked up at our workshop: Legeweg 163M, 8020 Oostkamp (Belgium).
Transport and delivery are possible at an additional cost.
The transport, insurance and clearance of the ordered goods is at the expense of the buyer and in some cases the transport box must also be provided by the buyer.
If the buyer requests Atelier Tourain to arrange the transportation, the buyer must advance the costs and possibly pay them directly to the carrier or transport agent. In this case, Atelier Tourain has only the role and capacity of intermediary and the buyer is aware and agrees that Atelier Tourain has no responsibility for the proper execution of the transport, nor is liable for any damages resulting from the transport, even if the transport costs have been invoiced through Atelier Tourain and paid to Atelier Tourain. If Atelier Tourain is invoiced for transport, all import duties, VAT, customs clearance costs and import administration in the destination country are the responsibility of the buyer. Problems with customs clearance must be resolved by the customer. For all types of transportation, this remains the full and sole responsibility of the customer, even in the case of door-to-door transportation. It is the customer's duty to inform himself about this in advance.

2. No products will be picked up, shipped or delivered without payment being received.

If, in addition to delivery (= unloading the ordered goods at your address), installation of the good is also desired, an additional invoice will be made for this in direction.

Installation cost = bringing in, unpacking, installing the good on level ground. Here we always assume normal delivery conditions: access roads are accessible, flat and level, doorways are wide enough for the packaging and there is enough space for the installers to install it properly.

All irregularities that result in additional work hours are covered by additional cost in direction.

Hours performed are noted on the delivery note.

4. Signing a delivery note is equivalent to accepting and approving the delivered goods/products. Return of products will not be accepted and are under no circumstances credited

5. If the buyer cancels an order within 3 weeks after placing the order, 50% of the sale price is due to Atelier Tourain. For cancellations after 4 weeks, a fee of 80% of the sales price (= amount of the advance invoice) is due. This cancellation fee will be charged to the buyer.

6. IMPORTANT!

The products are manufactured using a manual and traditional production process. Therefore, each product is unique so variations and imperfections may apply and there may be differences from the pictures and samples.

This is not a manufacturing defect but simply a characteristic of the material.

Atelier Tourain has an internal control system that systematically checks and filters these deviations. These deviations are known and accepted by the customer.

We stand behind these artistic choices and do not accept returns related to these imperfections such as irregularities in brass, patina on metal surfaces, wood cracks and more.

Brass is a natural product and will continue to patina over time and depending on the use. The buyer is aware of these natural aspects of brass . Brass can be cleaned or refurbished again and again, as long as the correct materials are used or the correct professional carries out the work.

ORDER INFORMATION & DELIVERY TIMES

1. Tiles are sold per m2.

Objects are sold by the piece.

2. Tiles are supplied with maintenance oil. This oil is approved for use in the food sector and can be purchased by you or the end user.

A 100 ml bottle costs € 35.00 excluding VAT.

3. Delivery time depends on production activity, available stock and order quantity. Theoretical delivery time for the tiles is 8 to 10 weeks.

Atelier Tourain is not legally bound by these delivery times and are purely indicative.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The content present on the site, including but not limited to trademarks, graphic designs, 2D and 3D files, logos, music, images, animations, renderings, videos, photographs and reproduced documents, as well as the software, are the exclusive property of Atelier Tourain, or are used with prior permission or license from the relevant rights holder.

Atelier Tourain reserves all rights thereto.

The user may dispose of this content only as strictly necessary for the proper use of the site, and therefore may not use it freely.

LAW

These terms of use are governed by Belgian law.

Atelier Tourain reserves the right to modify this document and these terms and conditions at any time and without notice.
